A hollow cone spray pattern forms a spray ring of liquid without any spray droplets forming in the middle of the spray pattern. The spray pattern is formed by tangential inlet to the whirl passage.
A full cone spray pattern can be formed in both round and square area. The area is fully covered in spray droplets. The spray angles available range between 15° and 170°.
A flat fan spray pattern is formed when the liquid is distributed in an elliptical flat sheet. The tapered edges of the flat spray is useful when a number of nozzles are fitted to a spray bar. In this instance, nozzle spray pattern can be overlapped to produce and even spray distribution.
